Who could ever resist a tin of butter cookies? We absolutely love traditional butter cookies, and sometimes even have sporadic cravings for them. One fine day we chanced upon Bisquini's cookies in Candy Empire, and decided to give its variety of flavours and buttery glory a try.
We know that everyone including friends and families alike must have tried these popular Danish butter cookies before -- you may ask so what's the difference? Bisquini uses an old Danish recipe while ensuring that their cookies are produced in Denmark, so this adds authenticity, on top of the smooth but tender buttery notes in the cookie, complete with light sprinkles of sugar.
Sometimes having too many Danish cookies might prove to be a rather overwhelming experience as the butter content builds up in your system, and you think, it's time to stop 'cause I'm getting sick. But Bisquini cookies are crisp and light, which makes it easier for your taste. Then again you might find yourself stocking up on another tin real soon! Also the tin is rather compact, packing about 20 cookies of various assortments into a small round tin, which puts to rest our worries of cookies going soft after some time -- oh yes we sure can finish it soon. Real soon.
Besides butter cookies, Bisquini also makes absolutely divine chocolate chip cookies. It's neither too hard nor too dry, but is soft, crumbly and chocolatey -- just the way we like it. It's also not too porous, so when you dip it into your favourite glass of cold milk, it doesn't melt into a mushy mess and disappear into the depths of your glass. We were delighted to find that their cookies are available in other unique flavours like cranberry and blueberry, great for those who are seeking a more novel tasting experience than the usual deal. Their cranberry flavoured cookies are paired with muesli, which is a superb alternative for healthy eaters seeking a tasty snack. For those feeling more adventurous, you could go for their blueberry coupled with coconut flavoured cookies.
